I - PRE-ORDER INFO

How is A.T jewelry made?

I make each jewelry at my studio in Galata, Istanbul. I draw each piece and cut the drawing on a plate and then i punch the lines. Afterwards I sand and polish the pieces. I also make some reliefed jewelry from brass which are produced for casting.

What are the terms for a custom order?

I used to make custom pieces but it became harder for me to focus on my own designs. So I decided to accept custom orders occasionally. I'll announce available weeks through subscriber mails, instagram stories or posts.

 

What materials are used? Are they plated?

I use brass and sterling silver. I prefer solid materials so I don't plate them. I also like to care for my jewelry to keep them as they are, I think it makes a bond between you and the piece which makes it more special. I'm considering to make solid gold pieces in the future.

How long does it take to make a piece of jewelry?

It takes between 10 - 14 days for custom pieces.

 

Is there a chain included when a pendant is purchased?

No, I don't include a chain when a pendant is purchased. It should be low priced and have good quality. It's not easy to find a chain that has both. Gold plated silver chains are not durable. Not demanding a low quality chain from the industry makes the price of the jewelry affordable and it's also more responsible for nature. So I encourage wearing the chains you already have.

 

What kind of chain is recommended?

It is practical to wear a thin solid gold / silver chain if you already have one. Chunky ones are also cool but it has to be thin enough to attach the pendant.

 

 

 

II - PURCHASING & DELIVERY

How can I purchase a custom piece when the custom week is announced?

The only possible option for international purchasing is Ada Taki online store for now. For custom pieces pre-payment will be necessary, a private purchase link is created for each custom order. 

 

Is there any stockist?

How long the shipping takes when a package is sent?

Standard international shipping might take between 2 weeks - a month

 

How can I track my package?

A tracking number when the package is sent. It could be tracked from ptt.gov.tr (or another website depending on the postal company) until it leaves Turkish soil, after that it will be possible to check when it reaches to the destinated country. The package will be checked at the customs first, which takes a while. You'll be able to check from the system of your country's government postal service (ex. USPS for USA, Royal Mail for UK, La Poste for France, Deut-sche Post for Germany)

 

What can be done when a problem occurs with the delivery of a package?

During the pandemic it was difficult to track the packages, sometimes they didn’t show up on the system at all. But each pack-age was delivered eventually, so there is a very low chance of it to be lost. If your package doesn't show up on the system after 3 - 4 weeks I can keep checking it and give feedback about it.

 

What is your return and refund policy?

It is possible to refund the purchase if you don't get your package in 2 months after being sent during pandemic. Please check standard refund policy for further info. Purchases could be returned if they are damaged during shipping. The shipping cost will be reduced from the purchase when it's refunded. If it is a custom piece refund will not be possible.

 

 

 

III - CARE AND OTHER

Is there anything I should avoid while wearing them?

• Avoid direct contact with alcohol, perfume, body lotions, hair sprays or other chemicals as possible.
• Remove jewelry when bathing, showering or swimming. Salty water or oily skin may cause sudden tarnishing.
• Avoid direct sunlight, heat or cold, especially stay away from humidity.

 

What are the care instructions for your jewelry?

A.T jewelry are made of brass or sterling silver. These materials need special care. For keeping your pieces in good condition;

•Clean the jewelry after each use. Occasionally wash it with soap and water, wipe until it is dry. Rubbing with a soft microfiber cloth, pure wool or special jewellery cleaning cloth makes it shine more, it will also prevent tarnishing.
• Store your jewelry seperately in an air-tight jewelry box.

 

How to clean the pieces when it's stained or tarnished?

There are lots of diy methods online, you can use materials that you already have at home like ketchup, aluminum, baking soda, vinegar, lemon, salt, etc. You should avoid using any harsh chemical while cleaning. If you don't want to make your own jewelry cleaning paste there are commercial alternatives for polishing silver or brass.

 

What to do when the piece is broken or there is a damage?

A local jeweler might repair most damage and weld the broken pieces together.

 

Can I tattoo the images used in your pieces, if so is there any charge?

Since I'm not a tattoo artist I'm not sure how to fairly price the design itself. I'd accept a donation that seems ok for you. If it is hard for you to afford the tattoo, my design could be a gift. It would be great to see something i drew tattooed so I'd be happy if you notify and share the result with me
